Landmark Inn, The

As the name implies, the Landmark Inn is indeed a Northbrook landmark - and in more ways than one. There’s the building itself - built in 1885, it is the oldest commercial structure in town. Then there’s the restaurant, whose eclectic menu, impeccable food, and comfortable ambience have set the North Shore’s standard for excellence in casual dining since 2001. There is excellent live music on weekends from some of the areas best bars.

Park West

One of Chicago’s best equipped multimedia facilities, this historic theatre has been an integral part of the entertainment scene since it opened in the 1920’s. Years later the building became the Town Theater, a neighborhood movie house, until 1977 when it was transformed into into Park West. Since then Park West has been the premier concert location for nationally recognized entertainers.

Tommy Nevin's Pub

Tommy Nevin's poured its first pint on September 13, 1990. The Irish-themed restaurant/pub was the brainchild of Steven Prescott, who named the restaurant/pub after his grandfather, Thomas Nevin. Thomas or "Tommy" as was affectionately known was a WWI hero and devoted father. The fire engine red color on the facade pays homage to the beautiful Temple Bar located in Dublin Ireland.

Green Mill, The

Jazz - traditional, bebop, contemporary, improvisational - played by such legendary figures as Von Freeman, Franz Jackson and Wilbur Campbell, as well as young lions Kurt Elling, Eric Alexander and Orbert Davis. All capture the broad spectrum of jazz from its root rhythms in New Orleans to New York avant-garde. Deep smoky jazz sounds fill the club in the early morning hours when soulful musicians continue to express their love of jazz by jamming ’til the early dawn.

Mickey Finn's Brewery
